This Dominican Beauty Salon

Let's just say the experience I thought I would have wasn't a GREAT One!. The cost of the SERVICE wasn't up to PAR!. The Manager or Assistant Manager Sucked @ paying attention to her customer, while TRYING to work on MY HAIR dealing with other clients. It took 3-4 hours just to do my hair. The service here was dissatisfying & not worth my money or ANYONE'S time!. So save ur self the time & energy to go there.

I came to this salon after researching for a Dominican hair salon in Brooklyn. The first time it was great! Amazing wash and style for an affordable price (~$42). The next time was 6/10. The was wash and blow out was so rough, I was so uncomfortable. This cost about 48 dollars. (Which was interesting because I always bring my own products, and receive the same services). I decided to give them a third chance because I really wanted to like them. The third time was :-/. It was so rough and rushed that I was so disappointed. When leaving they told me the total was almost 60 dollars for the same service that I received the last two times. I told them the price has been steadily increasing in the two months that I have been coming. Thankfully I had used my debit card and was able to show them the various prices that I was charged for the same service. Very disappointed.

It was my second time coming here, with my sister. The staff was amazing and the customer service is amazing. I came in and got exactly what I asked for (even better adjustments to what I had). Highly recommend coming here. It is worth it and barely have to wait at all. If you want to go visit you can follow yahiofficial on instagram. They are amazing!!!

I saw this place on tik tok and I looked it up and the reviews were solid. I called earlier, I spoke to a lovely stylist named Cristina. When I came in she did my hair. She greeted me, washed my hair and I asked her what treatment I should get and she recommended a good one for my hair and the condition that it is in. She did my rollers without asking me just to blow it out which most places do & I appreciate that. They were the best rollers I’ve ever had done. She put me under the dryer and when I was done she took me immediately. She blew my hair out and not once did I flinch, not once. She took her time, she cared for my hair she really did an amazing job. We discussed a plan to get my hair back to where it was previously and I am so excited. The end result is beautiful. This is my new salon home and I am so excited to come back next week. If you come here all the ladies are lovely but Cristina really did her thing and I appreciate her for caring for my hair and taking her time. It’s exactly how I like it. She also trimmed my ends and they look amazing. Thank you Cristina! ❤️

Yahi is the best hair dresser in Brooklyn I would have to say. She knows how to treat your hair and has good hands if you know what I mean. I starting going to her two years ago when I did my big chop and the patience that she has with your hair, the knowledge that she knows and she also educates you. Before putting anything in your hair she’s tells you what it is and makes you read it and tells you what it does to your hair. I absolutely love Yahi she’s the amazing and yes I have natural curly hair and she knows how to handle it !!!! SN she also did the color and let me tell you honey it’s very much HEALTHY !!!
